We provide expert advice to startups, corporations, and other organizations on the strategy and economics of innovation and intellectual property. We work in close collaboration with our clients on various issues, including the creation of IP strategies, the design and pricing of licenses, and the valuation of IP. Our advice is aligned with the client’s specific situation while simultaneously being grounded in the latest research-based evidence.
We teach and provide workshops in innovation economics and IP strategy to individuals, firms, and other organizations. We strive to engage and interact with our participants, and complement lectures with games, negotiations, and case discussions. This has led to several teaching awards and a long line of top-ranked education evaluations.
Erruma is managed by Dr. Marcus Holgersson. Besides his consulting, Dr. Holgersson is an Associate Professor in Intellectual Property Management at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, where he researches and teaches IP strategy and innovation economics. Dr. Holgersson holds BSc and MSc degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management, a BSc degree in Business Administration and Economics, and a PhD degree in Technology Management and Economics. Dr. Holgersson has held visiting research positions at University of Gothenburg, Stanford University, and UC Berkeley.
